Slovak legislation does not think about telemedicine. It can significantly relieve the burden on health care.
In the future, telemedicine may bring miniaturization of certified devices and new types of sensors, advanced processing of alerts and early warning signals using artificial intelligence with subsequent recommendation to the patient, more massive inclusion of other diagnoses in remote monitoring, such as diabetes, oncological diseases, hepatological or respiratory diseases.
