The new way of providing health care is finding more and more supporters. Not only the enthusiasm but also the results are convincing.

We focused on the issue of telemedicine. In the current situation of shortage of doctors, this area of medicine will become increasingly important. The field was introduced to us by Dr. Beáta Havelková – a member of the committee of the Slovak Society for Telemedicine. And through the application, we also connected with the president of the Slovak Society for Telemedicine, Dr. Vladimír Dvorová.

The so-called remote healthcare via phone or the Internet will save the patient time and speed up the doctor’s work. “The main advantage for the health system is the ability to manage the provision of health care from a capacity point of view in the context of a shortage of health workers,” added Dvorový.
